Hazard-Perry Orange routs Harlan

Last week, the Hazard-Perry Orange (9- and 10-year-olds) took on the all-stars from Harlan. The Orange needed but four inning to rout their opponents 22-2.Hazard-Perry started slowly, scoring two runs in the first inning and four in the second frame (6-0). They then exploded for eight runs in the third inning, which was countered by a pair by Harlan (14-2). Hazard-Perry then closed out the game with another eight run spot in the fourth inning (22-2). They win put the Orange into district play with an undefeated record.

 

Hazard-Perry Blue rolls over Tri-Cities

This week, the Hazard-Perry Blue (9- and 10-year-olds) took on the Tri-Cities all-stars. The Blues got off to a good start, and rolled to the 16-5 win.After Tri-Cities took the 1-0 lead in the first inning, Hazard-Perry jumped out to the 4-1 lead in the second inning. At the conclusion of this years baseball and softball season, coaches got together and named the all-star teams for the 9 and 10 year-old players.
