Hazard ties Yellowjackets 2-2 at home

The Hazard Bulldogs hosted the Middlesboro Yellowjackets at home last week, coming away with a 2-2 tie.

The Bulldogs jumped out to the early lead, then fell behind, leaving them having to score a late goal to secure the tie. Hazard got on the board first when Gary Kilburn crossed the ball into the box, where Bryant Fugate took a hard shot pass the goalie.

The Bulldog defense broke down late in the half, and with two minutes remaining the Yellowjackets managed the tying goal. The game went to the intermission tied at one.

Middlesboro picked up another goal at the 63rd minute, giving them the 2-1 lead. Hazard had to scramble late, and picked up the tying goal.

The Bulldogs took a corner kick, and Collier Mobelini settled the ball and then found Conner Carawan in the box. Carawan then took a hard shot to the far corner for the goal. Time then ran out, leaving the game tied at two.
