A boil water advisory issued for water customers at Gorman Hollow has been lifted.
Hazard City Manager Carlos Combs issued the advisory on Nov. 29, noting that a waterline break resulted in the possibility of bacterial contamination. Combs lifted the advisory on Wednesday, as the state Division of Water has determined through water tests that the water is again safe for consumption.
The advisory affected approximately 75 customers in Gormon Hollow.
