The Buckhorn Wildcats hosted the Jackson City Tigers on Friday. The Wildcats set the tone early as they blasted the Tigers 80-48.
Buckhorn came out hot and quickly nabbed a double-digit advantage. The Wildcats ended the first period with a 27-10 lead.
The Wildcats cooled off a little in the second period, but still managed to control the tempo. Going into the intermission, Buckhorn was on top 47-25.
Little changed in the third period as Buckhorn continued to distance themselves from Jackson City. The Wildcats were well in control (66-35) as the fourth quarter began.
The pace of the game cooled considerably in the fourth quarter, with Buckhorn keeping a tight grip on the game. The Wildcats went on to win the game by the final count of 80-48.
