Lula Mae Stacy, 80, died Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Hazard ARH medical center.

She was born July 14, 1932 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Lee Holland and the late Parrot Combs Holland, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Burton W. Stacy; sons Billy Joe Stacy and Bemus Stacy; grandson Vernon Lee Miller.

She was a life-long resident of Perry County, a member of the First Born Pentecostal Church at Dunraven, and loved gardening, going to church and serving the Lord.

She is survived by sons Clayton Stacy and wife Sylvia of Bonnyman, Donald Ray Stacy of Krypton, and Wesley Stacy of Covington; special son Bryan Stacy of Krypton; daughters Agnes Colwell and husband Roger of Bonnyman, Betty Neace and husband Sherman of Eubank, Ky., Edna Campbell of Viper, Mary Miller of Hazard, Velma Miller of Dice, and Anna Stacy of Grapevine; brother Jerry Holland of Columbus, Ohio; sister Louvina Sexton of Wisconsin; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard with Rev. Minor Feltner, Denver Couch, Hiram Jent, and Gladys Couch officiating. The interment followed in the Bush Cemetery located at Pigeon Roost.
