The Dodgers and the Nationals engaged in a slugfest this week on the Little League field.
The Nationals took the 1-0 lead in the first inning. The Dodgers outscored the Nationals 7-6 in the second inning, tying the game at seven.
The Nationals went back on top in the third inning (8-7), but surrendered the lead (9-8) in the following frame. The Dodgers remained on a roll and took the 14-8 lead in the fifth inning.
The Nationals would get enough runs in the sixth inning to tie the game, but could not stop the Dodgers from scoring in the bottom of the inning. The Dodgers went on to win the game 15-14.
