The Hazard Bulldogs hosted the Perry County Central Commodores in soccer action early in the week. The Commodores took the 3-0 lead in the first half, and never looked back as they rolled to the 6-1 win.
Perry Central picked up the game’s first goal midway through the first half. Logan Spencer connected on a penalty kick after a hand ball in the box. Spencer closed out the half with two more goals, giving the Commodores the 3-0 halftime lead.
At the 60th minute, Hazard got on the board. Daniel Turner outran the defense to pick up a one-on-one goal (3-1). The score stood until the final five minutes with Perry Central tacked on three goals. Tyler Mullins and Jake Mullis dropped long bombs on the Hazard defense, and as time ran out Jacob Farris set the final score at 6-1.
