Logan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary was well represented at the annual meeting of Auxiliary of West Virginia Hospital Association (AWVHA) held recently at The Greenbrier. Logan Auxilian Pauline Fortune was named Southeastern District Auxilian of the Year, and West Virginia First Lady Joanne Jaeger Tomblin was introduced by LRMC Auxiliary President Beverly Roark as a keynote speaker.
First Lady Tomblin gave an interesting and informative talk on the importance of volunteers in all organizations. Many could not exist without the help of volunteers and would not be able to offer many of their services such as hospitals and nursing homes who have the help of faithful volunteers. She extended much praise to all the auxilians in attendance.
