Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Campton to take on the Wolfe County Wolves. The Bulldogs controlled the game throughout, but had to fight off several attacks by the Wolves.
The Bulldogs defense controlled the tempo in the first period, and led them to the 13-6 lead. Wolfe County turned the tables in the second period, limiting the Hazard lead to one-point at the half (20-19).
Hazard continued to stay one-step ahead of Wolfe County in the third period, and ended with the 40-35 advantage. Despite a hard fought ending by the Wolves, the Bulldogs were able to head home with the 64-54 win.
