The Hazard Bulldogs ended their road schedule with the Powell County Pirates. The Bulldogs stayed one step ahead of the Pirates throughout the game, and outpaced them to the 90-73 win.
Hazard took the momentum from the opening tap, and began building a lead. The Bulldogs ended the first period with the 25-17 lead, and went into the intermission with the 52-29 advantage.
Powell County began to tighten things up in the third period, but still went down 69-42 going into the fourth quarter. The Pirates saved the best for last, but could not catch the Bulldogs. Hazard went on to win the game by the final count of 90-73.
