Letter to the Editor

March 11, 2014

Dear Editor,

Greetings in the name of Jesus, I am writing concerning the article by Jack Conway in the March 5, 2014 Hazard Herald newspaper. Jack Conway is useless to the people of Kentucky, as we the people have voted against men laying with men in 2004, we the people have spoken and Jack Conway has failed the people of Kentucky.

He said in his article that he would be defending discrimination, that is a lie, this is not an issue of discrimination, this is an issue if right and wrong.

God said in Leviticus 18:22-25, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself there with: Neither shall any woman stand before beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.”

This is a commandment of almighty God. When God says, “thou shalt not,” then you had better not do that, for God is not playing games, sin is still sin whether it be adultery, fornication, men laying with men, or lies. Sin will still take you to an eternal hell except ye repent. Jesus died for sinners, but if sinners don’t repent and be born again then sinners will die and go to an eternal hell where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mr. Conway said he prayed over his decision, well who was he praying to? If he was praying to the real God that created the heavens and the earth then he should be standing for God’s law instead of rejecting it. Our nation’s leaders had better be getting their house in order and get back to God before God rains fire out of Heaven on the ungodly.

Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Psalm 9:17, “The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forgot God.”

It is a sad time in America as our elected politicians have rejected the will of the people and most of all have rejected the laws of almighty God and have brought a reproach on our nation.
