Dawgs cage Cats

Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Lee County to take on the Bobcats in high school baseball action. The Bulldogs were on top of their game as they stopped the Bobcats cold 11-1.

The Bulldogs did not get rolling until the second inning when they crossed the plate four times (4-0). The Bobcats picked up their one and only run in the bottom of the inning (4-1).

The score held until the fifth inning when Hazard added another run to their tally (5-1). They finished off the Bobcats in the following frame, tapping the dish six times for the the 11-1 win.

Blake Nidiffer got the win, going six inning with 2 hits, 1 run, 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.
