On Tuesday, the Perry County Central volleyball team hosted the Leslie County Lady Eagles. The Lady Commodores started slowly, but finished strong to pull off the 2-1 win over the Lady Eagles.

Things went well for the Lady Commodores in the early portion of the first game. However, Leslie County put together a serious rally late to pull off the 25-21 win.

Momentum seemed to still be with the Lady Eagles as the second game began. This time it was Perry Central’s turn to grab the momentum and put together a rally.

The Lady Commodores exploded midway through the game, and ran past the Lady Eagles for the 25-13 win. The win forced a third and deciding game.

There would be no momentum swing in the third game as Perry Central jumped on top from the opening serve, and controlled the game throughout. The Lady Commodores went on to win the game by the final count of 25-13, giving them the match.
