A. No, I really enjoyed playing all of them.

Q. What was your favorite sport, and what were you the best at?

A. Baseball was my favorite, and it was the one I was the best at. Baseball just seemed to come natural to me.

A. No, I was able to go on and play baseball on the collegiate level.

Justin Johnson, a senior at Perry County Central High School, was a candidate for Mr. Kentucky Basketball, an all-state first team selection, and played on the Kentucky-Ohio tournament squad. Johnson has a full ride scholarship to play basketball at Western Kentucky University.

His answers are as follows:

Q. Why did you pick the sport you did?

A. Basketball has always been my first love.

Q. Do you miss the sports you have given up?

A. I miss playing football. The physical contact and the toughness it takes to play appealed to me.

Q. Has focusing on one sport helped your chances of earning a scholarship?

A. Yeah, focusing on one sport helped getting a scholarship because it allowed me to be free in the summers and travel with basketball.

Q. Are you playing your favorite sports, or the sport that will help get you into college?

A. Basketball is my favorite sport.

Q. When did you chose to become focused on a single sport, and why?

A. My sophomore year, because I wanted to be the best at one sport, and not just average at three sports.
