BULAN— One woman was flown to the University of Kentucky hospital after a single vehicle accident ended when her car landed upside-down.

At approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday, the unidentified driver of a gold Cadillac sedan was driving on Highway 451 when her car left the road and dipped into the ditch.

Deputy Sherriff Chris Combs reported that a large depression in the ditch caused the car to flip as it reentered the road and landed on its top.

Combs reported that the Kentucky State Police would be actively working the accident.

The driver was reportedly air lifted to the UK hospital for injuries sustained in the accident; there is no word on her condition.

The Herald will update this story as more information becomes available.
