Hazard’s Arnett to play in All-Star showcase

Over the Christmas break, Hazard High School senior Kody Arnett will participate in the 8th annual Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. The nationwide showcase will be played in Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Arnett, a linebacker with the Hazard Bulldogs football team was chosen, along with 79 other seniors, to participate in the Senior Bowl. Arnett is the only senior from Eastern Kentucky chosen for the showcase.
Arnett will be playing in the Senior Bowl, in which 80 of the best players in the country meet for bragging rights. They will show off their talents on a national stage. The event will be picked up by ESPNU, Fox Sports, and Time-Warner Cable.
Former players that have participated in the event include Cam Newton and Dez Bryant.
