Early in the week, the Perry County Central Lady Commodores hosted the Barbourville Lady Tigers. The Lady Commodores took control of the game early, and cruised to the 70-49 win.

It was all Perry Central in the first quarter as it took only minutes to post a double-digit lead. The Lady Commodores ended the period with the 21-8 lead.

Barbourville picked up the pace in the second period, and played even with Perry Central. However, it would not be enough to keep the Lady Commodores from heading to the locker room with a 35-22 advantage.

The Lady Commodores struggled to expand their lead in the third period, and at the horn, all they could add to their tally was a single point. Going into the final period, they were on top 47-33.

Perry Central opened up a 20-point lead early in the fourth quarter, and went on cruise control. The Lady Commodores went on to win the game by the final count of 70-49.

Perry Central (70) Kayla Ranking 34, Whitney Evans 3, Lyndci Combs 12, Perri Coots 6, Elizabeth Gayhart 2, Madisson Minks 2, Kaitlyn Cornett 2 and Morgan Eddington 6.
