Hazard Community and Technical College will hold graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 10, at Perry County Central in the John Combs Arena, at 10 a.m.
A total of 646 students are receiving a total of 1,409 credentials this Spring. Associate in arts, associate in science, and associate in applied science degrees will be awarded along with diplomas and certificates. These numbers represent all graduates for the 2013-14 academic year - those who graduated in August and December and those who will graduate May 10.
HCTC President Dr. Steve Greiner said, “We understand the sacrifice these students and their families have made to arrive at this point in their educational career and we are delighted to join them in this day of celebration.”
Will Padgett will be the student speaker. He is a student with the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music.
The public is invited to the event.
