On Thursday, the Hazard Lady Bulldog volleyball team traveled to Hindman to take on the Lady Patriots of Knott Central. The Lady Bulldogs had little trouble as they took the win 3-0.

Things did not look good for Hazard in the opening moments of the first game. The Lady Bulldogs fell behind early, falling down 14-7.

The Lady Bulldogs soon began to make up the difference, and were down 15-14 when Maddison Niece stepped behind the service line. Niece reeled off 11 straight points, giving Hazard the 25-15 win.

At that point, Hazard had stolen the momentum, leading them to take game two 25-11. Knott Central regained their composure in the third game, but it would be too late as the Lady Bulldogs swept the night with the 25-20 win in game three.
