The Willard Warhawks and the East Perry Miners hooked up in the semifinals of the 6th grade county tournament. The Warhawks were able to move on in the tournament behind a strong defensive effort.

By the end of the first period, Willard had built a double-digit lead at 16-5. At the half, the Warhawks were up 24-7.

Things would not get any better for the Miners in the second half as the Warhawks kept the pressure on. Willard would move on in the tournament with the 42-13 win.
