The final semifinal game of the sixth grade tournament featured the Chavies Cardinals and the Buckhorn Wildcats. The game was close early, with the Cardinals pulling away for the win.


Chavies was able to scrap out a 9-5 lead in the first quarter as they won the battle on the boards. The Cardinals then jumped out to a big lead in the second period, going into the locker room with the 28-14 advantage.

Buckhorn battled back in the third period, leaving themselves a nine point deficit (40-31) for the fourth quarter. Chavies picked up the pace in the fourth quarter, and cruised to the 55-39 win.
