The Buckhorn Wildcats took on the Cordia Lions in the second round of the All “A” tournament. The Wildcats had a little trouble getting out of the gates, and eventually fell to the Lions.

Cordia was able to dominate the first half behind a strong defensive effort. The Lion lead 16-4 at the end of the first period, and 29-9 at the break.

Buckhorn was able to get on track in the third period, and put together their strongest quarter. Going into the final period, the Wildcats still trailed 30-46. Buckhorn would eventually fall from the tournament with the 41-63 loss.

Cordia (63) Cunningham 29, Tagaloa 10, Lucen 11, Combs 3, Frimpong 1 and Keita 9.
