Last week, the Hazard Lady Bulldogs and the Jackson City Lady Tigers took to the hardwood. The momentum of the game went back-and-forth throughout, with the Lady Bulldogs edging the Lady Tigers at the end.


Hazard took control of the game early, and ended the first period with the 14-6 lead. However, the momentum shifted in the second period allowing Jackson City to take the 23-19 lead into the intermission.

The Lady Bulldogs were back in the driver’s seat in the third period, and with eight minutes to play, they were up 32-31. The outcome of the game was in question down the stretch, with the final run belonging to Hazard, giving them the 48-44 win.

Jackson City (44) Griffith 6, Thompson 4, Barnett 15 and Combs 19.
