Last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Cordia to take on the Lions. The game was close throughout, with the Commodores pulling out the 5-4 win.

Perry Central took the early 3-0 lead, scoring twice in the first inning, and once in the second. Cordia fought back with a run in the second and third innings (3-2).

The Commodores closed out the game with a pair of runs (5-2), but could not stop the Lions from rallying in the final frame. However, Perry Central was able to cut the rally short, and went home with the 5-4 win.

Perry Central (5) Pray 1 hit and 1 run; Evan Hurt 1 run and 1 RBI; Austin Neace 1 run; Cottongame 1 run; Ronnie Long 1 hit, 1 run, and 2 RBI; and Dylan Fields 1 hit.
