This week, the Hazard-Perry Blue (9- and 10-year-olds) took on the Tri-Cities all-stars. The Blues got off to a good start, and rolled to the 16-5 win.


After Tri-Cities took the 1-0 lead in the first inning, Hazard-Perry jumped out to the 4-1 lead in the second inning. Tri-Cities pulled to within a single run in the third (4-3).


Hazard-Perry broke the game open in the fourth inning as they scored eight times for the 12-3 advantage. The Blues outscored Tri-Cities 4-2 down the stretch, giving the me the 16-5 win.


Hazard-Perry Blue (16) Braxten Davidson 3 hits and 4 runs; Nick Whitaker 2 hits and 2 runs; Jacob Daniels 2 runs; Jaxon Hamilton 1 run; Dylan Knight 2 runs; Cole Smith 2 runs; and Kolin Hillman 1 hits and 3 runs.


Tri-Cities (5) Braydon Blakley 1 hit; Justin Moyers 1 run; Nathan Shepherd 2 hits and 1 run; Jaydan Gist 1 run; Jonah Swanner 1 hit and 1 run; Chandler Smith 2 hits; and Nazereth Sanchez 1 hit and 1 run.
