More than 60 complaints were called in to the State Board of Elections as of noon on Tuesday, according to Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, though none originated from Perry County.
In Eastern Kentucky, one call was received from Pike County, and another from Letcher County on procedural complaints. One vote buying complain was made in Knox County.
“Voters are the frontlines in protecting election integrity,” said Grimes, “and I encourage anyone who witnesses questionable election-related activity to contact the State Board at 800-246-1399.”
As of noon, the State Board had fielded 65 inquiries regarding the election, including procedural questions, electioneering complaints, and allegations of vote fraud and vote buying.
Vote buying complaints were made from Adair/Casey, Meade, and Fayette counties, while one fraud complaint was made from Jefferson County.
The majority of the complaints fielded so far have been procedural in nature.
