Dorothy Marie Stidham, 83, of Hazard, passed away Monday, March 1 at the Hazard ARH medical center.

She was the daughter of the late Colman Carroll and the late Lula Phipps Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Stidham.

She is survived by daughters Beverly Eileen and Hobert Turner, Gloria Arlene and Danny Hurley, and Teresa Lou and Mack Fugate; sons Rodney Harold and Sheila Stidham and Oscar and Darlene Stidham; sisters Sarah Griffith and Susie Blair; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Wednesday, March 3. The funeral service was held Thursday, March 4 with Sister Sue Stacey and Rev. Merrill David Collins officiating. Interment was at Oscar Stidham Cemetery located at Gays Creek.
