Elsie Deaton, 55, of Gays Creek, died Sunday, Nov. 18 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Brownlow Deaton, and brother Jerry Deaton.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Howard; mother Susan Deaton; stepsons Randall Howard, Jr. and Randall Scott Howard; sisters Nancy Sizemore, Carolyn Terry, and Helen Sizemore; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20 after 5 p.m. at Holiness Church of God in Jesus Name. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Interment will be at Deaton Cemetery in Barwick.
