The Hazard Lady Bulldogs hosted the Lee County Lady Bobcats last week. The Lady Bulldogs started strong and coasted to the win.
Lee County could do little to stop Hazard in the first quarter, as nearly everything they put up went in. The Lady Bulldogs closed out the first period with a 22-10 win.
Lee County picked up their pace in the second period, and began to put some points on the board. Hazard managed to retain the lead, and went into the locker room up 37-29.
The two teams played nearly even in the third period, with the Lady Bulldogs tacking on a single point to their lead (54-45). Hazard put the game on ice early in the fourth quarter, and cruised to the 75-63 win.
