The Hazard Bulldogs on Saturday welcomed the Whitley County Colonels into Memorial Gym. Whitley County started out strong, but could not keep pace with the fast-paced Bulldogs.

Whitley County jumped out to the early lead, with Hazard remaining just a shot behind. Late in the first period, the Bulldogs went to a bigger lineup and promptly took control of the game. At the end of the first period, Hazard was on top 17-12.

The Bulldogs continued on cruise control in the second frame, while the Colonels began to flounder. By the time the game reached the intermission, Hazard was well in control of the game at 44-20.

Whitley County just did not have the fire power to keep up with Hazard, and continued to fall further behind. By the time the third period ended, The Bulldogs sat atop a 62-28 advantage.

Hazard went to the end of their bench in the fourth quarter, yet continued to extend their lead. When the horn finally sounded, the Bulldogs walked away with the 77-32 win.
