A Knott County man was arrested on drug charges this week at his home in the Pinetop community.
Officers with several law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at the home of Yeart Pratt, Jr. at Walnut Hollow, where they seized drugs, a handgun and cash, according to a press release from the Kentucky State Police.
Pratt was transported to the Kentucky River Regional Jail in Hazard and faces several charges, including trafficking, illegal possession of a legend drug and prescription drugs not in the proper container.
The investigation is continuing by detectives with Appalachian HIDTA.
