YERKES – Work on railroad crossing in Perry County will temporarily close a small stretch of roadway this week.
CSX Transportation will be making repairs to the railroad crossing on Ky. 451 at Yerkes in Perry County on Wednesday, August 1. The road will be closed to all through traffic from 8 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m.
No marked detour will be provided, according to a statement from the state highway department in Jackson.
