William Richard Eddington, Sr., 74, of Decatur, Ga., died Tuesday, Dec. 11.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dot Eddington; daughters and sons-in-law Robin and Larry “Cotton” Bates of Loganville, Ga., and Ginger and Tommy Eads of Hoschton, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law Bill and Jenny Eddington of Lawrenceville, Ga.; sisters Maxine, Irene, Brenda, and Jessie; brothers Edgar, Ivory, Donnie Hugh, and Roger; grandchildren Caroline and her husband Ricky, Meagan, Brittany, Brooke, Susie, Karen, and Trey; great-grandson Travis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by Tom M. Wages Funeral Service of Snellville, Ga. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Forrest Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Warren officiating. Interment will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
