Grammy Award winning musician to perform at HCTC tonight

Robert Mirabal is an award winning musician that aims to preserve the music of Native American tribes as well as being influenced by different genres. Mirabal has preformed his show and done lectures and demonstrations in Native American traditions and music for several of the schools in the area but will be having a concert open to the public this evening. At 11 am on Thursday, Mirabal had a matinee performance for 560 students. Mirabal was accompanied by his band as well as three traditional Native American dancers. The final performance will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the First Federal Center at the Hazard Community and Technical College. Tickets are still available to the show and can be purchased at the door.
