The Hazard Lady Bulldogs played two at home on Friday. The Lady Bulldogs hosted the Clay County Lady Tigers and the Powell County Lady Pirates. Unfortunately, the Lady Bulldogs would come up empty in the end.

In the first game, the Lady Bulldogs took on the Clay County Lady Tigers. The Lady Tigers got on the board first with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning (2-0). Hazard cut the lead in half with a single run in the bottom of the frame (2-1).

Neither team scored in the second inning, but Clay County would explode with nine runs in the third inning (11-1). Again, Hazard scored in the bottom of the frame. However, they would only muster two runs, bring the score to 11-3.

The Lady Tigers were able to bring the game to an end in the fifth inning as they put three more runs across the plate (14-3).

Hazard stats: Maddison Niece 2 runs and 2 hits, McKenzie Herald 1 hit and 1 RBI, Aaliyah Stupart 1 RBI, Kelsie Handshoe 1 hit an 1 RBI, Tori Wells 1 hit, and Cheyenna Kilburn 1 run and 1 hit.

In the night cap, the Lady Bulldogs took on the Powell County Lady Pirates. The Lady Bulldogs would not be able to break the ice in this contest, and it came to an end with the Pirates claiming the 10-0 win.

Hazard stats: Aaliyah Stupart 2 hits, Elizabeth Ratliff 1 hit, Tori Wells 1 hit and Morgan Robinson 1 hit.
