The Hazard Bulldogs hosted the Pikeville Panthers last week. The Bulldogs won the teams’ first meeting of the season 3-1 at Pikeville.

The Bulldogs had a strong first inning, scoring five runs. The Panthers were able able to get two runs in the second inning (5-2), but would be shut down at that point.

By the midway point of the game, Hazard was up 8-2, and showed no sign of letting up. The Bulldogs were not able to end the game early, but they did get close as they finished the game with the 11-2 win.
