The Perry County Central Lady Commodore soccer team played a trio of games this week, and came away with a 2-1 record. The Lady Commodores defeated the Letcher Central Lady Cougars 3-2 in overtime, shutout the Paintsville Lady Tigers 2-0 at home, and fell to Bryan Station on Saturday 0-2.In the first game, the Lady Commodores took on district rival Letcher Central. The game would have to go to overtime before Perry Central pulled out the 3-2 win. Kelsey Lowe scored all three goals for the Lady Commodores, while Dallas Coots had an assist.

Commodores roll over Tigers

On Thursday, the Perry County Central Commodores hosted the Paintsville Tigers. The undefeated Commodores had little trouble disposing of the Tigers as they jumped out to an early lead, and quickly went deep into their bench.The Commodores came out strong, scoring three goals in less than 20 minutes.
