Elizabeth "Libby" Faulkner Turley
Elizabeth "Libby" Faulkner Turley, 81, of Daytona Beach, Florida (formerly of Hazard and Mount Sterling), died Sunday, April 2, 2006 in Daytona. She was the daughter of the late Drew T. and Prudie Smith Faulkner born February 11, 1925 in Barbourville. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Daytona, the DAR and the Odd-Fellows. She was the former owner of both the Shamrock Motel and Turley Apartments in Daytona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Turley on October 16, 1982; 2 sisters, Drucilla Faulkner Cannon and Nancy Ruth Faulkner and a brother, Bernard Faulkner. She is survived by 1 son, Robert Turley and his wife Patricia of Daytona Beach; 2 granddaughters, Stacy and Tracy Truley; other loved ones and dear friends who mourn her passing. Her funeral was conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home, Friday, April 7, 2006, with Rev. Tim Thompson officiating, burial in the Barbourville Cemetery.
