On Thursday, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Hindman to take on the Knott Central Patriots. The Commodores got off to a slow start in this game, and quickly found themselves down by double digits. Perry Central was able to inch their way back into the game, setting up a last minute come from behind win.

Knott County opened the game with a 24-15 advantage, and managed to lead 40-32 going into the break. Perry Central continued to fight their way back into the game, but continued to trail (52-46) going into the final frame.

In the fourth quarter, Perry Central quickly made their move, turning up the defensive pressure. With only a couple of minutes left in the game, it turned into a back and forth affair. Fortunately, for Commodore fans, the final rally belonged to Perry Central, giving them the 66-63 win.

For the second game in a row, Jason Kelly led the Commodores with 24 points. Kelly went 14 of 14 from the line in the contest.
