Gov. Beshear to hold town hall in Hazard

Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear is scheduled to participate in a series of town hall meetings beginning today and extending into next week, one of which will he held in Hazard December 17.

Beshear, who outlined his proposal to close the state’s projected $456.1 million budget shortfall Thursday, is expected to discuss the deficit.

Beshear is scheduled to be in at the Hal Rogers Forum in Hazard at 6 p.m. Wednesday. He is also scheduled to appear at meetings in Henderson, Ashland, and Dry Ridge as well.
