The Commodores played their second game last week on Thursday as they hosted Whitley County. Things would not go well for Perry Central as they fell behind early, and never could catch up.

Whitley County got on the board first with a rebound goal, and went up 2-0 later in the half. The Colonels went into the break with the 2-0 lead.

The Colonels continued to control the tempo in the second half, and by the time the Commodores got on track, they were up 4-0. Perry Central’s first goal came with about 15 minutes left in the game.

Tyler Mullins found himself one-on-one with the goal, but when the goalie charged, he was able to pass the ball backwards to Logan Spencer. Spencer then knocked the ball between two defenders for the score.

Late in the game, Michael Wooton bent the ball over the defenders from about 35 yards out. The ball found the net just out of the reach of the goalie, setting the final score at 4-2.

Perry Central stats: Goals: Logan Spencer 1 and Michael Wooton 1. Assists: Tyler Mullins 1.
