The the Perry County Central Lady Commodores on Thursday hosted the Estill County Lady Engineers. The Lady Commodores took the early lead, but could not hold on as the Lady Engineers took control of the game.
Perry Central took the early lead as Tori Couch bent in a free kick from 30 yards out. The lead would not last long as Estill County struck three times in the span of seven minutes. Going into the break, the Lady Commodores trailed 3-1.
Perry Central drew to within one early in the second half as Ashley Morris took on the defense for an unassisted goal. Estill County erased the goal minutes later, and the Lady Engineers went on to win the game by the final score of 4-2.
