A boil water advisory for the Flat Gap area was just lifted after it had been put in place on October 23. According to Hazard City Manager, Carlos Combs, the advisory came after a water main break at a line in the area.
The threat of contamination has been fixed and the water has been tested and cleared as safe for human consumption.
