Jennie Louise Barker, 83, of Hazard, died Thursday, Nov. 22 at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris, Ky.
She was a retired case worker for the state, and the daughter of the late Chris Brown and the late Pearl Davidson Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Harold Baker, and sister Anna Pearl Eversole.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Everidge and husband Jeff; son Wallace H. Barker, Jr.; special friends Philippe Auber; grandchildren Ross Caldwell and wife Heather, Kaitlyn Everidge, and Channing Everidge; great-grandchild Grayson Caldwell; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Interment will be at the Resthaven Cemetery in Jeff.
