Steven Douglas “Tigger” Maggard, 37, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16 at his residence in Lexington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Maggard; paternal grandparents Charlie and Ora Maggard; and maternal grandparents Ed and Margaret Link.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Maggard; fiancé Sarah Barmore; son Douglas Luke Maggard; sisters Lois Collett, Diane Groce, Alice Watkins, and Stephanie Maggard; brothers Douglas, David, and Charlie Maggard; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. Visitation will be held at the Krypton Brethren Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, with the funeral services immediately following with Rev. Jim Sluss officiating. Burial will take place in the Douglas Maggard Cemetery at Krypton.
