Clayton Bryant, 73, of Hazard, died Monday, Dec. 24 at the hospice care center in Hazard.

He was a retired auto mechanic and son of the late William Bryant and the late Francis Dunn Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Fraley Bryant; sisters Gladys Beckman, Beatrice Ridout, Madge Johnson, and Rindie Butler; and brothers Earnie, William, Jr., Herman, and Clinton Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Bryant; daughters Teresa Combs, Linda Keith, Lisa Griess, and Heather Neace; brothers James and Lloyd Bryant; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 with Rev. Fred Bullard officiating. Interment will be at Englewood Cemetery at Christopher, Ky.
