Stella Marie Couch, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 3 at the Hazard Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on March 16, 1926 in Defiance, the daughter of the late John Cotton and the late Leila Littleton Cotton, and was also preceded in death by her husband, N.C. Couch; brother Roy Cotton; and sisters Leoma Cotton, Visa Fallon, and Gladys Kidwell.
She was a life-long resident of Perry County and a member of the Abundant Living Church in Hazard.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Deborde and husband Mike of Jeff; nephews John Kidwell of Hazard and Robbie Fallon of Tennessee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at noon at the New Hope Christian Center in Hazard with John Kidwell and Mike Barnett officiating. The interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff. The Visitation will be at the New Hope Christian Center on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard is in charge of arrangements.
