Eula M. Napier, 83, of Ary, died Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the hospice care center in Hazard.


She was the daughter of the late Sherman Gayheart and the late Bessie Smith Gayheart, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Napier; sisters Ethel Bush, Juanita Rogers, Gladys Williams, and Audrey Pollard; and brother Charles Gayheart.


She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Conway and husband Robert of Hazard; sisters Geneva Bush of Ohio; brothers Dana and Virgil Gayheart, both of Ary; grandchildren Lenny Conway and wife Amy, and Erica Sparkman and husband Kasey; great-grandchild Shana Lynn Conway; and a host of family and friends.


Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24. Services will begin at noon on Monday, Feb. 25 with Kendall Combs officiating. Interment will be at Gayheart Cemetery in Ary.
