Christopher Colwell
An inmate at the Kentucky River Regional Jail in Perry County escaped on Monday.
Christopher Colwell, 37 of Lower Second Creek, was on work release detail in the Pigeon Roost community of Perry County when he allegedly ran away from the site, officials with the jail said.
Colwell was being held on traffic charges and was due to be released Monday night.
The sheriff’s office said they are still looking for Colwell.
