Perry County Judge-Executive Denny Ray Noble and Hazard Mayor Nan Gorman signed proclamations recently declaring March as Red Cross Month. The Perry County Red Cross chapter has been busy since forming in 2005. The Red Cross provides immediate relief for local residents in the event of a catastrophe such as a house fire, and has provided relief to more than 100 families in Perry County.
